God IS ABLE to do EXCEEDINGLY, ABUNDANTLY, ABOVE all that we can ask OR IMAGINE! Ephesians 3:20

God is doing some great things in the Seydel household. In April, God brought three children into our home through foster care. These are children that we have known and loved since 1999 when we originally served as their foster parents.
One of the great things that God has done is that He opened the door for all three of our foster children, Brandy, Jack, and Sherry, to go to Calvary Christian Academy! And they are there! And they LOVE it!

God opened this door in August, just days before they were supposed to start at our local public school. CCA was already in session. The Lord intervened in a wonderful way.

I spent the week in Awe! In a silent daze, I was overwhelmed at the goodness of the Lord and how He provides. After receiving the news, I was in a fog. “Why, Lord? Why, me? Why do you choose to do such wonderful things in my life? Why? First, you bless us with four awesome kids, and then you allow us the privilege of raising three of your children. Why? Why me? And then you totally blow me away by allowing them to go to CCA to be taught in our wonderful school by our wonderful staff! What did I do to deserve such goodness? Why me!?”

As I sat there with tears in my eyes in total amazement of His goodness, He whispered to me, “Because I love you.” “Wow, Lord, you are doing this because you love us!” He repeated, “Because I love you.” I just wanted to break down in tears. He loves me! He loves ME! I don’t know that I’ve ever experienced such a personal message of His love for me since I received the gift of salvation 24 years ago!

Friends, if He loves ME, then He loves YOU too! Yes, you! And he bestows so many blessings upon us! Think about the Lord and the wonderful things that He does in your life. Why does God give you so much grace and mercy? Because, my friend, He loves you! He loves YOU! You are special to Him and He delights in bringing joy to you. He delights in blessing you. You are loved, my precious friend. You are loved by the Creator of love! The Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, He Loves You!

While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us! For you! I pray that this Christmas season God would reveal to you His great personal love for YOU! I pray that He would remind YOU of the wonderful and great things that He does in your life. May God richly bless you as you continue to serve and love Him.

The Lord has done great things for us and we are filled with JOY!
